Charles Williams will guide you on a walk and talk around the gardens.
There are about 650 species of rhododendrons growing in temperate climates, the lecture will focus on just a few of them. They are all later flowering, suitable for smaller gardens because they do not grow very tall, and very deeply scented because the rely on insects for pollination and these insects can only thrive in late spring or early summer.

Join us for a celebration of the Caerhays Mineral Collection with an enlightening talk presented by the Curator of the Collection, Courtenay Smale.
The visit will include a presentation of the award-winning minerals including the Gold Nuggets from Carnon Valley which led to confirmation that the gold in the Sky Disc of Nebra, came from Carnon Valley.
The event will also include a guided tour of Caerhays Castle.
